Destiny 2 Forsaken is here! We talk in depth about our excitement (Sam once again loves Destiny). We have an extremely light spoiler section (covering the trailers and the first couple of missions) running from 0:26:50 until 1:02:27 (if you aren't into Destiny, just skip to here once we start talking about it). Also, Sam is so glad she tried Strange Brigade before the onslaught of AAA games begins. It's really fun and you should give it a chance!

In the news, Bungie Rewards is giving out free stuff you can earn from playing including the Forsaken soundtrack! Best Buy is going to be having demo's of Super Smash Brothers! (But before you get too excited, it's only in select locations.) And THQ Nordic has bought the rights to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning!!

It was the best of updates, it was the worst of updates. Destiny 2 had an update. We have widely differing opinions. Also this week, your Geek Heart family has started playing D&D. We recap our good times so far! Sam raves about how cool Ryse: Son of Rome is (available on Game Pass). We bitch a little about the Private (pay to play) Beta trend (Fallout 76 - we're lookin' at you), but we're A OK with paying extra to access content early (Division 2). Microsoft is doing everything right with their new Xbox All Access program. And who knew that everything on Xbox Game Preview wasn't free? (I'm guessing a lot of people knew - but we didn't until Day Z was announced for $40).

Exciting news this week including new games coming to Xbox Game Preview, Man of Medan and Nintendo Indie's like Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Everspace and Morphies Law that - SURPRISE - is out now! Cody develops an affinity for punishing games while playing Death's Gambit - so much so that he wants to try a Dark Souls game! Sam has fallen in love again and it's with Sky Force Anniversary Edition! We've also been playing the early access of Divinity Original Sin 2, DOOM and H1Z1 (though it brings out a little Cody's Corner of Rage).

It's our 21st Episode! Cody's having a great day! Sam might have food poisoning! But we power through. We've been having fun with the new free to play shooter, Defiance 2050. Cody missed out on his Mewtwo raid, but he's been playing Pokemon Y (and this is the last time he's allowed to talk about Pokemon for the next few months) along with the new JRPG, Octopath Traveler. Sam tried out the Speedrunners demo and has gone back to Persona 5. Sam makes some really dumb jokes in her excitement about the Overwatch League Playoffs. In the news, we've got a Friday the 13th Ultimate Slasher edition coming, Nathan Fillion made an Uncharted fan film, and we've got a new story trailer for the Spider-Man game!
